Cancellation Policy
- Where a student has failed to attend a course and has not notified DOME, no refund will be issued.
- DOME will make every effort to deliver training courses as advertised, however, there are times due to lack of student numbers that DOME will be required to postpone or cancel a course. Should this happen you will be notified as soon as possible and DOME will make every effort to reschedule your training, or a full refund of fees paid will be issued.
Flexible Learning and Assessment
Most of our training is offered through class attendance, in-house and on the job training. We try and design out training and assessment to meet any special needs of learners in a supportive environment.
Literacy and Numeracy
Our training takes into account the language skills required by mature aged persons wishing to return to the workforce. DOME will take into account the needs of clients who require additional assistance in literacy and numeracy. Contact the Training Administrator if you feel that assistance is required.
Client Records
Your records are held in a secure environment and protected under our privacy policy. Results of nationally recognized training are held for 30 years. You may request supervised access to your records from the Training Administrator.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Where appropriate students may achieve accredited certification through Recognition of Prior Learning. This is a process designed to help those people with skills, but no paper qualification. This is a process that requires the student to produce evidence either past or current that they can perform the tasks set out in the particular qualification schedule. Details are available from the Training Administrator.
